You may feel intimidated facing a family law case—but you do not have to be. We are here to make the process understandable and make your case go smoothly. All you have to do is take the first step by scheduling a Legal Clarity Session.
When to Take Action
We are here to help as soon as you have questions. The uncertainty of a legal case is stressful. Meeting with us and getting your questions answered will help put your mind at ease. Trying to speculate (or worse, googling) what might happen in your case could lead to a lot of misinformation. This can lead you to make choices that are harmful to your case. Meeting with an attorney early in the process is the best option to make your case goes smoothly.
It is tempting to put off dealing with your family law case. You may feel you are not quite ready or you need to wait until the right moment. Unfortunately, family law cases rarely get better with time. They are best faced head on. With delay, one of two things usually happens: your legal position worsens or the conflict with the other party escalates. While a family law case might be unpleasant, it is best to rip of the bandaid and deal with it. The sooner you get started, the sooner you can put everything behind you.
Legal Clarity Session
Our process starts with a Legal Clarity Session. Unlike a traditional consult, this is not focused on whether we are willing to take your case. The focus is on getting to know you and your goals. During our meeting we will:
- Review the options in your case
- Recommend the best way forward
- Tell you how to have a better family law experience
At the end of our meeting, we will quote you a custom flat fee for your entire case. We will also review payment plan options.
You can schedule a Legal Clarity Session here, or by calling 678-435-9069. Once scheduled, you will receive an online intake form. We ask you to complete the form and email us any relevant documents before your appointment. We review this information in advance so we can maximize our time in your appointment.
Working with an Attorney
If you have not worked with an attorney before, you may not know what to expect. Your family lawyer is your partner in your case. We work with you to strengthen your case, but you will still be an active participant. With the help of our advice, you decide the priorities in your case. Then we craft a legal strategy to get there. The primary benefits of working with an attorney are:
- We will explain everything that is happening, so you understand
- We will handle the technical and legal work for you
- We prepare a strong case for both settlement negotiations and trial
Our primary goals are to give you the best opportunity to win your case and to make the process as easy for you as possible.
